I AM

Mary Elizabeth Morse.

I am the daughter of Ned Morse.

I grew up with the story of Jane and Wolfgang, but never understood the significance until college. On a trip to Berlin with my Dad, this story came to life visually, but especially in relevance. Immediately I realized, this story belonged to the world.

I am a student of history. I see parallels everyday between Berlin then and our world today. These parallels worry me, but also drive me to make a difference. Telling this story, sharing it with the world is one small action, but it requires action to change the course of history.

As the inscription on the Berlin Wall says, “Many small people, who in many small places do many small things, can alter the face of the world.”

I am looking for people, big or small, to help share this story.

In working with industry friends, Sandra Varona and Jenny Callaghan, we crafted a feature-length script and a short documentary. Together, we dream of sharing this story with the world as a movie.

This story is the dream that keeps me awake at night. All it takes is someone to believe in it and help make the dream a reality, and “alter the face of the world.”
